Anatomy Of A Hidden Revolution

As a rule of thumb, whenever Democrats accuse Republicans of something, they are most likely guilty of the very same thing, and worse.  One of the reasons that the January 6th Commission is so important to Democrats is that it shines a diverted light onto their enemies so that they themselves might be spared the scrutiny from performing their own silent insurrection.  That may seem to be somewhat of an extreme claim, but consider the similarities between what Democrats claim happened and the truth. 

First of all, Democrats claim that “insurrectionists” overwhelmed Capitol security to access the building and wreak havoc unhindered.  CCTV has shown that protesters were ushered into the Capitol in what started as an orderly fashion and then became unruly.  Who, among the Capitol police, could have imagined that angry patriots who recently experienced the greatest election fraud in American history with mountains of supporting evidence would pose a threat to order?  Now consider that a vehement contempt had been building in the Democrat party for four straight years and at this point in time they could actually taste victory.  The only jeopardy that existed was inside the Democrat party and the fear that there may have been enough evidence of fraud to actually overturn the 2020 election.  Seizing the opportunity, Democrats made themselves out to be the victims and placed all of their focus on the narrative that President Trump had incited an “insurrection”.  Had Democrats not “cried wolf” a thousand times before, perhaps the American people may have taken their claims more seriously.  However, they had already played their last ace and the one showing now came from somewhere other than the deck.

Secondly, Democrats had spent most of 2020 defining riots as “peaceful protests” and refusing to denounce them anytime or anyplace.  Property destruction estimates ranging in the millions were simply dismissed as healthy democracy playing out within the confines of the misdemeanor level of lawlessness.  With that bar being placed so high, what happened on January 6th MUST be defined as something other than rioting/peaceful protest.  The truth that no fires were set inside the Capitol and no cars were turned over outside only defends the fact that this was more of a “peaceful protest” than anything seen earlier that year at the hands of ANTIFA or BLM.  When it was over in a matter of hours rather than days or weeks and with little more force than a scolding and a command to disperse and go home, one life had been taken by a paranoid Capitol police officer who decided to shoot first and ask no questions.  Somehow the murder of a unarmed female veteran was dismissed as her being in the wrong place at the wrong time and the officer that pulled the trigger rests just one rung below commendation on the ladder of jurisprudence.

Thirdly, the narrative has to be fabricated that the events of January 6th were premeditated.  As Democrats have proven time and time again, perception supersedes the facts.  Any straw that can be grasped will be, and then used to make a scarecrow.  The first order of business was to locate ANY minute detail that could be used to construe that the “insurrection” was premeditated.  It did not matter where it came from or from whom as long as it could be used to point a finger that would eventually come to rest at President Trump.  Why would it come as any surprise that the gang that had been trying to remove him from office would now seize upon this opportunity to accuse him of treason?  Of course, that has yet to be proven nor will it ever be, but that will not stop the majority from spending millions of taxpayer dollars to pursue it. 

You may wonder at this point; why does it sound like I am beating a dead horse?  It is because this corpse should have been buried a long time ago and yet it remains in the offices of the Capitol building continuing to decompose.  We are about to reach the one year mark and don’t think for a moment that all the major news organizations won’t take the opportunity to revive the narrative and maybe breathe a little life back into the controversy.  Even today, one can almost hear the unison of liberal media outlets as they immortalize the anniversary of what they will call “one of the darkest days in American history”.  May you chuckle a little on Thursday when you hear this happen and your mind drifts back to this article. 

It is sometimes a struggle for this writer to be optimistic.  I would like to think that 2022 offers a glimpse of the end of the Democrat majority—and it may.  The concern is that there is still 11 months of ordinates in their arsenal and you can be certain that they will use them strategically and/or suicidally.  Of greater concern is if they succeed in the subversion of democracy to solidify illegitimately their now legitimate foothold.  There are “no holds barred” as Democrats seek to undermine future elections at the fundamental level.  You might think that after the 2020 election, steps would be taken to ensure the undeniable integrity of future elections, but that is only the concern of conservatives and Republicans.  The main blinding focus of Democrats is not that EVERY vote be counted, but that ANY vote be counted.  It is within this focus that their hope of retaining every ounce of power rests. 

There are two revolutions vying for dominance in the coming year.  The first one is the most obvious as the citizens of this country are finally becoming united in the belief that Joe Biden is the worst, most inept PO(TU)S this nation has ever seen.  The other revolution is a bit more clandestine and rests within the halls of our very Congress.  They are infected with elected activists and revolutionaries who are more concerned with the cancellation of student debts than they are the issues plaguing the American people.  Guns and swords are not the weapons of this revolution, but rather pens, perceptions and the occupation of the higher grounds.  It is within their power to place democracy in a “kill-box” unless they are crushed by the interpretive hammer of our Constitution.  Their weakness exists in their contempt for that Document and their willingness to encourage their figurehead to use his Executive powers to bypass the impassable obstacles.  The potential for abuse of Executive orders has long existed but kept in check by the greater powers of Congress.  If these two balances are compromised and converge, the spawn of that forbidden copulation could be nationally catastrophic.

Aside from the domestic implications, the potential for foreign advantages further diminishes our national security.  The threat of terrorism for the first time in over 20 years will be overshadowed by the threat of aggression, if not against the United States directly, then against our allies.  This creates a multi-dimensional danger of revealing America’s vulnerabilities and placing us on the endangered list.  Even through two World Wars, America’s confidence remained high that we would not be overwhelmed by our adversaries.  For the first time to this writer’s knowlede, Americans are questioning and even doubting our sovereignty; and it all stems from the tone deaf Oval Office and this PO(TU)S.
