The Invisible Civil War

The divide in America, whether you would classify it as Republicans vs. Democrats or as Conservatives vs. Liberals, is as different as night and day.  Democrats whose “golden” candidate resides in the White House are still not happy because Joe Biden is inferior to any leader who would have their interests at heart.  America would be in much worse condition if Biden had a fraction of the zeal for fulfilling his Build Back Better agenda that President Trump had for Making America Great Again.  It is amazing how the shift has been made with Democrats in power to separate a season of prosperity from MAGA and make the latter a derogatory term.  Liberals detest the acronym and it roils hatred within them to the point where many of them act out violently with little or no regard for collateral damage.

Do you find it ironic that liberals are the most violent of political groups yet conservatives are the most armed?  It is a lesson of Constitutional respect that many/most conservatives who practice the 2nd Amendment lawfully are the least likely to abuse that right.  On the other side of the spectrum, where liberals rage, there is a mental caveat that motivates them to be equal to jihadists whose doctrine of “holy war” at least has elements of misguided faith.  The former choose to act in godless animus driven by hatred promoted by their very own leadership.  What chance do the simple-minded even have against such influence?  Imagine for a moment if the tables were turned and liberals were meek while conservatives were militant.  America would be a bloodbath where Democrat political aspiration would carve an indelible bullseye on any candidate.  Thank God, that is not the case.

Millions of dollars of taxpayer money has gone toward the spectacle of the January 6th Commission whose sole purpose is to construct an insurrection out of a “mostly peaceful” (by Democrats’ own standards) riot.  It is then and only then that they can endeavor to attach it to President Trump and void any chances for him to run for office.  It is entirely possible that he is waiting for the conclusion of the Commission strategically, so that if/when he is exonerated the wind in his sails will be even more prevalent.  At this point, it would be to the former President’s advantage to let go of the tainted 2020 election and focus sharply on the integrity of upcoming contests.  This writer in no way suggests forgetting about the 2020 election, but beating the skeleton of a murdered horse will not make it rise to it’s feet and run.  President Trump can forever believe that the 2020 election was stolen, but the attention span of most voters on both sides is now focused on issues that they KNOW the former POTUS can address.  I am convinced that, along with his base, there are Democrats, Republicans, Independents and Libertarians who would be happy to usher Joe Biden out of the Oval Office and welcome the effectiveness of Donald Trump back into it.  He must realize that he is no better than Democrats who have stalled on January 6th when he himself has stalled on November of 2019. Outrage must be replaced with vigilance and truth will ultimately prevail.

The issue of this article is violence, whether it be gun, knife or keychain.  Feeling, at last, the inherent futility and lack of satisfaction that protesting brings, liberals are becoming prone to the depravity that resides in the hearts of all mankind.  Scripture says, “without faith it is impossible to please God” and any human without the hope that faith brings is destitute, desperate and infectiously destructive.  Those who have faith do not condemn the faithless for it goes against the inherent benevolence of the same.  They do, however, have a responsibility to be “salt” and “light” to an unsavory and dark world.  The blind hypocrisy that progressive liberals display advocates for the preservation of the environment but will set fire to a structure, a vehicle or even a forest.  Their vehemence is unbridled and as wild as a pack of “brumbies” (the Australian term for free-roaming feral horses).  They become gangs without leadership and hoodlums without conscience.  Democrats will quickly weep over the massacre of children one moment and then demand the right of a mother to kill her child the next.  Any argument they make is crafted with the blunt tools of agenda and enlists the naivety of the foolish.  For instance, they zero in on the plight of an abused ten year old who had to travel across state lines to have an abortion when even the staunchest pro-life advocates would not condemn the circumstantial action.  It was ripe to become political fodder used to villianize the SCOTUS and endanger it’s conservative justices. 

Democrats continue to selectively condemn violence only when it is directed towards them.  Stopping just short of condoning and encouraging it, they retain a thin illusion of jurisprudence of which any light shone upon it would reveal a horror lurking just beneath the surface.  They would most likely not shed a tear had the assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh been successful.  They would simply proclaim what a dark day it was in America and then quickly move to replace him with whatever diverse, not necessarily qualified, candidate they could find.  Now that American has the first black, female Justice, maybe it’s time for the first Muslim, transgender or otherwise candidate to be historically installed.  Don’t get me wrong, anyone from those groups who may be dedicated to the accurate interpretation of the Constitution is welcome, however it is highly unlikely that their idealism would be subject to the same.  The problem with identity politics is that it prefers appearance over merit because optics are extremely important to Democrats.  Even the beloved Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. held that we should all be judged by the content of our character and not the color of our skin.  In the end, Dr. King was gunned down by a racist member of the Democrat party, James Earl Ray.  This was a tragic silencing of an extraordinary voice.  Americans would undoubtedly hail the rise of a good man or woman of color over any evil white person any day of the week.  Contrary to what liberals would have you believe, America is not a racist country but a diverse one with shadows of racism in it’s past.  Joe Biden often refers to the Jim Crow era because that is where he must transport Americans in order to sell his archaic values.  Talk about a man who is decades late to the presidency.

The trend toward lawlessness in 2022 is fueled by the majority in Congress.  Violent offenders are being apprehended and then put back out on the streets barely wincing from a slap on the wrist.  Democrats will not dare to offend criminals because they are voters who will mostly likely vote for them.  Doubtful?  Perhaps that may explain why the Party of the Ass would like to restore voting rights to felons.  Come this November, they might need all the help they can get.  It would be admirable if Democrats were as adamant against “ghost voters” as they are against “ghost guns” because the former would prove more destructive than the latter in the long run.  Nancy Pelosi’s claim that Democrats have no intention of losing their majority in November should stoke every conservatives’ vigilance to DEFCON 1.  Even now, the din of the stage being set can be heard behind the blue curtain.  Whether it is an idle ranting or a plotted machination, the “Snake”of the House must not be dismissed in her claims with a hardened 36 years of Congressional experience behind her.  Perhaps now, in the twilight of her political career, be assured she will not retire quietly or acknowledging defeat.  Democrats are continuing to drive the political stakes higher and higher and the American people will be the *marks that will ultimately pay the price.
